Orit Mardkha-Tenzer is a graphic designer living in New York. She graduated from Tel Aviv University in 1986 where she studied linguistics and literature. After relocating to New York she pursued a BFA in Graphic Design at Parsons School of Design in 1991.
Growing up in Milan, Orit was surrounded by art and culture and decided to mix her love of books and art together to become a graphic designer. She moved to New York where she earned her BFA at the prestigious Parsons School of Design. Orit would go on to work at such establishments as Sterling Publishing, Sotheby’s, and St. Martin’s Press. She has additionally participated in a number of workshops around the world where she has gained valuable insights into textile design, typography, bookbinding, and more.
Orit is also fluent in Italian, French, Hebrew, and English and is proficient in Adobe Creative Suite , Word, HTML, CSS, and Quark Xpress. In addition to her design work, Orit teaches Photoshop, Indesign, and Illustrator classes at New York University’s Institute of Fine Arts, as well as being an Adjunct professor at City College of NY.
